iEARN
iEARN (International Education and Resource Network) is the world's largest non-profit global network that enables teachers and youth to use the Internet and other technologies to collaborate on projects that enhance learning and make a difference in the world.
All projects in iEARN are designed by teachers and students, and provide powerful examples of how technology can make a difference in teaching and learning. As part of iEARN's mission to improve the quality of life on the planet, all projects involve a final "product" or exhibition of the learning that has taken place as part of the collaboration. These have included magazines, creative writing anthologies, websites, reports to government officials, arts exhibits, performances, and many more examples of youth taking action as part of what they are learning in the classroom.

The Project Collaboration Centre allows iEARN members to find and join projects of interest and to participate in teacher or student forums with members from the 125 countries which currently participate in iEARN.

Learning Circles are highly interactive, project-based partnerships among a small number of schools located throughout the world. Each session is 14 weeks. To participate, fill out a Learning Circle Placement. A Learning Circle is created by a team of 6-8 teachers and their classes joined in the virtual space of an electronic classroom. The groups remains together over a 3-4 month period working on projects drawn from the curriculum of each of the classrooms organized around a selected theme. At the end of the term the group collects and publishes its work. Then, just as any class of students does, the Learning Circle comes to an end. Each session begins with new groupings of classes into Learning Circles.

iEARN also offers both face-to-face and online professional development workshops and courses for educators seeking to integrate online global project work into their classrooms.
