Development programme
The TIPD programme is funded by the DCSF and offers
teachers in England many opportunities to meet other
professionals and build school links. You could take part in
an international study visit on themes such as ICT, citizenship and
literacy.

Comenius in-service training
Are you a teacher interested in attending in-service
training courses in another European country? Find out about how
your subject or sector is taught in another EU country, or help
enhance MFL skills through a course in a European country. We have
a very useful list of the languages schools that are eligible for
this funding.

throughout the year, plus there is a new online course available to
take in your own time.

Regional support
There is a network of professionals trained in the DCSF
International Strategy that covers England and Wales and in some
cases Scotland and Northern Ireland. Many can be found through your
local authority or through other channels.

Events and workshops
Whether you're looking for advice on how to find a partner
school, ways to develop the international dimension in your
class or possible sources of funding, there are workshops held
throughout the year to help.
